About Geotextile
Geotextile is a permeable geosynthetic that lets water pass while retaining soil particles. It performs filtration, drainage, separation, reinforcement, protection and curing functions, and in liner systems it cushions the membrane against puncture and vents water and gas from beneath it.
Filament (continuous-fibre) geotextile offers higher tensile strength and better creep resistance for reinforcement and long-life structures; staple-fibre geotextile is uniform and cost-effective for general filtration, separation, protection and curing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Filament or staple-fibre geotextile?
Filament for reinforcement, embankments and long-life critical layers; staple-fibre for general filtration, separation, membrane protection and curing. Follow the design strength requirement where one is specified.
PET or PP fibre?
PET (polyester) is the mainstream choice with good strength and UV resistance. PP (polypropylene) has superior acid/alkali resistance and is preferred in aggressive chemical environments such as tailings or alkaline leachate.
