About Composite Geomembrane
Composite geomembrane bonds geotextile to a polyethylene membrane in the factory: the membrane provides containment while the fabric layers cushion puncture, spread stress, vent water and raise interface friction. One installation delivers both functions with fewer field seams than separate layers.
The two-cloth-one-membrane structure is the mainstream choice for reservoirs, canals and ponds; one-cloth suits bases that already have a separate protective layer; three-cloth-two-membrane provides a double liner for high-containment duties.

Two-cloth or one-cloth?
Two-cloth gives double-sided protection and stable interface friction—preferred for reservoirs, ponds and canals. One-cloth is for bases that are already smooth and receive a separate protective layer.
How is welding different?
The fabric must be peeled back at the seam to expose the membrane for hot-wedge welding, then restored and sewn or bonded afterwards. Experienced welders and trial-weld records are essential.
