About Filament Geotextile
Filament geotextile is made by melt-spinning continuous filaments into a web and needlepunching it into fabric. Because the fibres are continuous, load is shared across the whole web, giving higher tensile strength, better puncture resistance and lower creep than staple-fibre products.
It is the preferred choice for reinforcement, embankment protection, heavy-duty membrane protection and any layer that must perform over a long service life under sustained load.
